If your name is Khadijah, here's who you're named after.
The night the first revelation came, the Prophet ﷺ came home from the cave of Hira with his heart pounding. "Cover me, cover me," he said. When the fear passed, he told Khadijah everything, and said: "I fear something will happen to me."
She said:
"Never. By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep ties with your family, you carry the burdens of the weak, you give to those who have nothing, you honour your guests, and you help people through hardship."
Then she took him to her cousin, Waraqa ibn Nawfal, who told him this was the same angel Allah had sent to Musa. (Sahih al-Bukhari 3)
And once, Jibril came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "Here is Khadijah, coming to you with a dish of food. When she reaches you, give her greetings of peace from her Lord, and from me, and give her the good news of a house in Paradise, with no noise in it and no tiredness." (Sahih al-Bukhari 3820)
She was the first person he told, and the first to stand by him. And Allah Himself sent her His greeting of peace.
