If your name is Ahmed, or Ahmad, your name is in the Quran.
Centuries before the Prophet ﷺ was born, Isa, son of Maryam, stood before his people and said:
"O Children of Israel, I am Allah's messenger to you, confirming the Torah that came before me, and bringing good news of a messenger who will come after me, whose name is Ahmad." (Quran 61:6)
Ahmad comes from hamd, praise. It means the most praised, or the one who praises Allah most.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "I have five names. I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad. I am al-Mahi, through whom Allah wipes out disbelief. I am al-Hashir, the first to be raised, with everyone raised after me. And I am al-Aqib": the one after whom there is no prophet. (Sahih al-Bukhari 3532)
So if your name is Ahmed, it was spoken by one prophet, about another, before he was even born.
